Mr. Maybe

Mr. Maybe by Jane Green
Ladies...do you REALLY know what you want in a man? Who would you choose? A sexy, out-going, funny guy who is an awesome lover...(there's a catch: He's broke!) OR a really unattractive, boring, and extremely wealthy guy who is horrible in bed...? Before you answer that question I suggest you read this novel!

Libby Mason is at an age where most women are usually married and starting a family and is really feeling the pressure from her mother and others around her. It's not that she doesn't want the same for herself but she's had tons of bad luck with love and is really struggling between what she wants in her heart and what she's always pictured love to be in her mind.

What I enjoyed most about this book was the authors style of writing.
Jane Green's choice of words, the flow of the story, and the unforgetable characters will surely make you step back and re-evaluate this thing called "Love".

Skyscraper

Known for her erotica tales, Zane, a New York Times best-selling author, adds another sexually charged novel to her repertoire. Zane self-published her first three books, and now has her own publishing company, Strebor Books.

Anastasia - I wouldn't call what Shakia and I did whoring exactly because most whores don't get paid like we did. Shakia an I were Entertainment Consultants.

Skyscraper is the titilating tale of sex in the workplace. This story takes place at Wolfe Industries, the first black-owned automobile manufacturer. It focuses on the week before Christmas and the annual office party. The novel follows four of the main characters; Tomalis, the CEO of Wolfe Industries, who is trying to deal with his whorish wife, the son who followed in her footsteps, and his pill-popping daughter in med school. Diana, the Executive Assistant that is perceived to be a snob, is tired of her position, and the sexual positions her boss Bradford wants to put her into. Anastasia, a 25-year-old secretary at Wolfe, along with her friend Shakia, does some bonus work for the company at the executive penthouse entertaining executives. Chico, the 19-year-old mail clerk, who jumps at the chance to be with the CEO’s wife, not thinking of the repercussions.

As these employees cross paths, they get a little more than their bonuses this year. Some are out for revenge, others just want to be the new HNIC, and one just wants some good sex. We all know who will be on Santa’s naughty list as sex, lies, and greed satiate these employees the week before the party.

The Bacherlorette Party

"The Bacherlorette Party" by Karen McCullah Lutz

Chapter 13 - The day of the bachelorette party began with the neighbor's cat climbing through the bedroom window and sitting on Zadie's bed, meowing into her face with hot tuna breath that seemed as if it were coming out of someone's ass.

This hilarious debut book by Cowriter of the the movie, Legally Blonde is 248 pages of guaranteed shake you head, spit out your water, laugh out loud out humor. If you enjoy jaded cynicalism about life and love like I do, you will so love this book! Zadie Roberts, English teacher to L.A. prep school elite, and freshly dupped at the alter by her Soap Opera star fiance 6 months ago, is bundle of pessismism. When she finds out her best guy friend Grey, is marrying her disgustingly perfect "virgin" cousin Helen after 4 months of dating, she feels betrayed by the love gods. Her only source of pleasure comes from her classroom fantasies about her student Trevor, the Abercrombie and Fitch Model who is shamefully off-limits.

As per Grey's wishes for Zadie to "make sure Helen has a good time, maybe loosen her up a little", the bacholette party with its indecorous and opinionated entourage let loose in the city of angels for a night to remember. Armed with a stretch limo and a neurotically stiff itinerary, plans quickly change as the day progresses. After a slew of overindulgence from all sorts of fancy bottles , shocking secrets are revealed, breasts are bared, sexual encounters are rampant, and a mechanical bull is molested....Well you will just have to read for yourself . This story will have you wishing for your own pre-husband party or a much needed "do over" .....well maybe !

Other Men's Wives

Other Men's Wives by Freddie Lee Johnson III

This is a story about a man who is celebrating his 5th anniversary, when he receives a dvd of his wife having sex with another man, whose upper body is blurred. He sets out to find out who this man is, and in the meanwhile get back at some of the men that he thinks it could be; by sleeping with their wives.

It wasn't quite what I expected in the story line, but it was a good read. The story starts off a little slow, then it begins to pick up before the end. The author leaves you wanting to know what is going to happen next. Johnson did a good job of describing his character's and there background. I could envision the characters, which is very important to me when reading a book. There were some surprising twist and turns in the end, that were not seemingly predictable, well not to me at least and I'm pretty good about that kind of stuff. The moral of the story is the same as most, DON'T CHEAT, and don't ASSume things, and take matters into your own hands before confirming facts. All in all I enjoyed this book and recommend it as a good read.

Been There Done That

I really enjoyed this book too and I read it in one sitting. It had a little drama (not as much as All That and a Bag of Chips) and had a good ending that leads to the next book in this hot series... What Goes Around Comes Around. I can't wait! Typo Count 19

Darrien Lee has an awesome writing style that will captivate the attention of mature readers of all ages. Prepare to be mezmerized by these superb novels that will have you drooling to see what happens next.
